Newington has one of the smallest populations on the Seacoast and one of the biggest concentrations of commercial space, which shapes what Perham does there. The Newington side of Pease International Tradeport, the Fox Run and Crossings at Fox Run retail area, and the businesses along Woodbury Avenue and the Spaulding Turnpike all run on office cleaning and floor care: suites cleaned in the evenings, restrooms restocked, break rooms done, and the hard floors in retail units kept up on a schedule rather than left until they look tired. Storefront glass is washed at the published per-window rate. The residential side, the older homes along Little Bay and Nimble Hill Road, is small but is on the same published bedroom price list as Kittery, and the drive up the Spaulding from the base is short.
